So - This is me

So…

I am not anticipating that anybody will read this blog, I won’t be telling anyone about it so I don’t know how anyone will find it!

I guess I am using it as some kind of cathartic release at the end of the day – A way to get stuff off my chest (which I guess is exactly what a Blog is designed for!).

Where to start…

I am 24, I work in a pretty boring office job. I have my own flat and spend most of my time reading, listening to music, watching DVD’s, Sport and playing xbox.

I suffer with undiagnosed depression which up until now I cope with and I live a normal life with, I often feel on the verge of not being able to function at times but I won’t look for help until that moment happens (rightly or wrongly).

I have friends but I tend to not keep too many as in general I don’t feel the need to spend time with people I don’t really enjoy spending time with. I am very comfortable in my own company and can happily go days without seeing anyone.
I am single and have had a few on/off ‘relationships’ after my engagement broke off a couple of years ago (I am sure I will talk about that in future posts.) I find it hard to meet women due to my lack of self confidence.

That’s enough of the negatives, I am relatively intelligent and whilst I dropped out of uni (largely due to not coping with my depression and need to spend time alone) I have a keen interest in Science and Economics and will definately look to gain quals in one of those two areas in the future.

I LOVE comedy and I am obsessed with many different comedians and programmes. Arrested Development, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Stewart Lee, Demetri Martin, The Thick of It, Josie Long (my future wife) and Stewart Francis to name just a few of my obsessions.

Music wise I like more artists and bands than I care to mention too – But let’s start off with, Interpol, Elbow, The Smiths, Le Tigre, Laura Marling, Martha Wainwright, The Jam and Ocean Colour Scene.

Well yeah..I guess that is enough for a first post – Not that anyone will be reading this! If you do happen to stumble upon this, feel free to say hello and reccommend any blogs that you think may appeal!

PR.
